Material Culture
One way in which we can learn about the past is to examine the material culture of an era - the objects left to us by people who lived in the time we’re studying. We looked at works of art, household objects, and clothing to learn about both Native nations and settler colonists in the early nineteenth century. We also thought critically about architecture and archaeological finds.
